Call Numbers for books, e-books, audio-visual materials, and many other resources at the Colby Libraries are listed in CBBCat (the online library catalog of Colby, Bates, and Bowdoin). The direct link is: http://cbbcat.net/

To get to CBBCat from the Colby Libraries home page, click on the 2nd tab down of the menu to the left of the big blue box. The orange arrow tab should now be positioned over BOOKS AND MORE. Then click on MORE SEARCH OPTIONS to get to the CBBCat interface. Use the drop-down menu to search for an item by keyword, title, author, etc. You can specify format or location in the second drop-down menu.

Look at the CBBCat record for the item. Besides the Call Number, note the Location where to find the item and its Status (availability). Items on the shelves will be individually labeled with the Call Number, usually on the spine.
