If you are initiating the research process for a paper, you can take a multi-pronged approach using the library resources on the library home page. First, you can search in one of our catalogs: CBBcat, OneSearch, NExpress, MaineCat, or WorldCat. Try using OneSearch for books and articles in one click.

The second approach is to begin by conducting a search in databases. But which ones?
Go to the Research Help pulldown on the gray band on our pages. Select Research Guides to find the subject area desired. Each guide will give you database options for finding articles, books, and more.

If you need further guidance after pursuing these options, or have more complex research questions, the SRS librarians welcome personal appointments. Please contact us!
