ILL is the acronym for Interlibrary Loan. Interlibrary loan is a system that allows libraries to share materials from around the world.

• If you need an item that is not held at Colby, Bates, or Bowdoin, you can submit a request for materials through this system.
• Please check  MaineCat first for all returnable items.
• For articles and returnables that are not available via MaineCat, use ILLiad.
