If there is no shortcut or pathway through My Computer, go to Start > Run and type:
\\fileserver1
(For Windows 7, go to Start and type fileserver1 ; if the machine is on the domain, that will be it, if not, type colby and your whole email address, including @colby.edu)
In the next dialog box that pops up, type in the first space: colby\your Colby initials (as for e-mail) and in the second space: your Colby password Depending on your permissions, this will or will not take you somewhere into the server system.
